Newcastle Upon Tyne – History and Future
As we are based in Wallsend, North Tyneside, around ten minutes from central Newcastle. Most of our work is in and around the Newcastle area.
For a designer, Newcastle is a fascinating part of the world. Much of the city was built in the Victorian era, which means beautiful fixtures, high ceilings and communities of terrace houses. But it’s worth remembering that the way we live our lives has changed a lot since Newcastle was built, and your dream home may not be organised in the same way as a Victorian family’s.
So our extensions and conversions are about making your homework for your life, while fitting perfectly into its surroundings. We owe it to you. And honestly, we owe it to Newcastle.
Out to the North Tyneside Coast
One of the things that we love about the North East is how close we are to the coast. It’s rare to have proud coastal communities within an easy commute of a large British city, but with North Tyneside and South Tyneside on the Newcastle Metro line, the North East is a special place.
Towns like Tynemouth and Whitley Bay are also undergoing huge amounts of regeneration, modernising while staying true to their maritime roots.
Our clients from the North Tyneside coast are proud of their area, and want their dream home to reflect both the Geordie and the coastal aspects of it. And if you have any sort of a sea view, we’ll help you to beautifully showcase it!
Across the North East
We work across the region, on projects large and small.
We also have good relationships with the local building control departments, working closely with Newcastle, North Tyneside and Gateshead local authorities. We usually get quick response times from these bodies, making the whole process run as smoothly as possible.
